Kan Ping, a professor and doctoral supervisor, is a leading scholar at Xi'an Jiaotong University. His artistic works as a creator and director have won more than 20 national first prizes or above. He is an expert in cultural and artistic creation who has won numerous awards. His works have won three international awards, more than ten "Five-One Project" awards from the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and more than ten first prizes of the China Radio and Television Awards, among others. He has served as a judge for the China Golden Record Award, the CCTV Young Singers' Grand Prix, the "Five-One Project" Award, the China Radio and Television Awards, and other national awards many times. He is a national cultural figure and a member of the "Four Groups of Talents".
