吴旭，客座教授

吴旭，博士，美国亚利桑那州立大学克朗凯特新闻传播学院教授（终身教职）。1992年毕业于中国人民大学新闻系，先后就职于《经济日报》、新华社国内部（1992-1997），参与创办《新华每日电讯》。2000年赴美留学，于美国佛罗里达大学先后获得传播学硕士和哲学博士学位。自2005年起,受聘于美国亚利桑那州立大学克朗凯特新闻学院,教授“战略媒体与公共关系”课程。2016年5月，受聘为西安交通大学新闻与新媒体学院客座教授。

Wu Xu PHD Visiting Professor

Wu Xu is a tenured associate professor in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Arizona State University. He graduated from the Department of Journalism in People’s University of China in 1999. He worked in the Economic Daily, Xinhua News Agency (1992-1997), and participated in the establishment of the Xinhua Daily Telegraph. In 2000, Wu Xu went to the United States and has obtained a master’s degree in communications and a PhD degree in philosophy in the University of Florida in U.S. Since 2005, he has been employed at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Arizona State University, teaching the course of Strategic Media and Public Relations. In 2016, he has been employed as a visiting professor in the School of Journalism and New Media in Xi’an Jiaotong University.
